About The Song

“May The World” emerged during a deeply personal and reflective period in my life — a return to music production after many years devoted primarily to teaching, training, spiritual work, and the evolution of our school.

Over the past decades, my creative life gradually expanded beyond music itself into online courses, written teachings, spiritual guidance, mantra training, meditation, creativity work, and audio-based learning experiences. Yet beneath all of this, music always remained quietly present at the center of my life.

This release marks my first new public music release in many years, and in many ways symbolizes renewal — a return not only to recording and composition, but also to a deeper commitment to creating meaningful art during this phase of my life.

The emotional atmosphere surrounding this project was shaped by the growing instability, suffering, wars, displacement, and collective anxiety unfolding throughout the world in recent years. Beyond politics or ideology, it is the human cost of conflict that increasingly weighs upon my heart: fear, grief, fragmentation, uncertainty, and the emotional wounds carried by individuals, families, and entire communities.

As both an artist and spiritual practitioner, I naturally process these realities through prayer, chant, contemplation, music, and creativity. “May The World” ultimately became my own response to fear, conflict, and division — a musical prayer for peace, harmony, healing, and shared humanity.

The chorus is built around the sacred Sanskrit prayer:

Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhino Bhavantu

Often translated as:

“May all beings everywhere know happiness and freedom.”

The Sanskrit word “sukha” carries many beautiful layers of meaning: happiness, joy, ease, well-being, openness, and a sense of inner easefulness in life itself. In times of conflict and uncertainty, this very sense of ease often disappears from both individuals and societies. The prayer within this song therefore feels especially meaningful in the world we are presently living through.

Ultimately, “May The World” is an offering of hope — a reminder that music, beauty, prayer, creativity, and collective human intention still matter. Even during uncertain times, we still possess the capacity to sing together, create together, heal together, and remember our shared humanity.
