The Primer Experience
The Yogic Mystery School Primer is a growing membership experience designed to introduce you to the principal pathways, modalities, and areas of study that shape our school.
Through a carefully curated collection of lessons, practices, presentations, and featured experiences, you'll gain a deeper understanding of our approach and the opportunities available for further study.
Over the course of your one-year membership, you'll progressively engage the four principal pathways that form the foundation of the Yogic Mystery School, exploring not only their philosophy, but also selected trainings, workshops, and retreat experiences that bring each pathway to life.
The Yoga of Sound Pathway
Begin with the transformative use of sacred sound, devotional music, creativity, and healing through the voice. This pathway introduces the four streams of the Yoga of Sound through a growing collection of teachings, including five Mantra Master Classes, three Kirtan Master Classes, immersive practice sessions, and an all-day Mantra Retreat that you may enjoy at your own convenience.
Sri Vidya Tantra Pathway
Sri Vidya is one of India's most revered mystical traditions and builds upon an understanding of sacred sound because of the central role that mantra plays within its practices. For this reason, it forms the second pathway within our school. We encourage students to establish a foundation in the Yoga of Sound before entering the teachings and practices of this Eastern Gnostic tradition, which works with subtle energy, mystical devotion, and spiritual transformation. An all-day Mudra Retreat is also included.
The Consciousness Pathway
While consciousness is cultivated throughout both the Yoga of Sound and Sri Vidya Tantra, this pathway explores the deeper dimensions of spiritual awakening through meditation, contemplation, and authentic relationship with the Divine. Begin your journey with A Spiritual Makeover, a four-part introduction to one of the foundational teachings of the Yogic Mystery School, then continue with selected consciousness teachings and an immersive all-day Meditation Retreat that you may enjoy at your own convenience.
The Holistic Wellness Pathway
This pathway completes the circle by addressing many of the practical obstacles that affect spiritual growth and consciousness development. No matter how effective our spiritual practices may be, challenges such as trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, fear, lifestyle, and nutrition often influence our ability to flourish. This pathway explores nutrition, mental hygiene, conscious living, resilience, balance, and the realization of our full human potential. Drawing upon Asha's expertise, you'll begin building a practical foundation for lasting wellness and personal transformation.
Your Journey Through the Primer
The Yogic Mystery School Primer is designed as a year-long journey through the four principal pathways that form the foundation of our school. While we introduce one new pathway each quarter, you'll also receive selected teachings and experiences from the other pathways throughout the year.
For example, although your journey begins with the Yoga of Sound Pathway, you'll also discover A Spiritual Makeover, an introduction to the Consciousness Pathway, along with featured trainings, master classes, and immersive retreat experiences that provide a taste of what lies ahead.
As each new pathway is released, it remains part of your membership, allowing you to build a growing library of teachings, practices, and retreats that you can revisit whenever you wish.
The Primer is more than an introduction. It is an opportunity to experience the unique character of each pathway before deciding where you'd like to continue your studies. As your membership progresses, new lessons, workshops, and retreat experiences are added, enabling you to discover which aspects of the Yogic Mystery School resonate most deeply with your own journey.
