The Primer Experience 

The Yogic Mystery School Primer is a growing membership experience designed to introduce you to the principal pathways, modalities, and areas of study that shape our school. 

Through a carefully curated collection of lessons, practices, presentations, and featured experiences, you'll gain a deeper understanding of our approach and the opportunities available for further study.

You can begin immediately with more than 100 lessons drawn from The Yoga of Sound and Sri Vidya Tantra pathways.

Over the course of your one-year membership, the Primer will continue to expand as the remaining pathways are introduced, giving you opportunities to explore their philosophy as well as selected trainings, workshops, and retreat experiences.

The Yoga of Sound Pathway

Begin with the transformative use of sacred sound, devotional music, creativity, and healing through the voice. This pathway introduces the four streams of the Yoga of Sound through a growing collection of teachings, including five Mantra Master Classes, three Kirtan Master Classes, immersive practice sessions, and an all-day Mantra Retreat that you may enjoy at your own convenience.

Sri Vidya Tantra Pathway

Sri Vidya is one of India's most revered mystical traditions and builds upon an understanding of sacred sound because of the central role that mantra plays within its practices. For this reason, it forms the second pathway within our school. We encourage students to establish a foundation in the Yoga of Sound before entering the teachings and practices of this Eastern Gnostic tradition, which works with subtle energy, mystical devotion, and spiritual transformation. An all-day Mudra Retreat is also included.

The Consciousness Pathway

While consciousness is cultivated throughout both the Yoga of Sound and Sri Vidya Tantra, this pathway explores the deeper dimensions of spiritual awakening through meditation, contemplation, and authentic relationship with the Divine. Begin your journey with A Spiritual Makeover, a four-part introduction to one of the foundational teachings of the Yogic Mystery School, then continue with selected consciousness teachings and an immersive all-day Meditation Retreat that you may enjoy at your own convenience.

The Healthy Aging Pathway

This pathway completes the circle by addressing the practical foundations that support healthy aging and human flourishing. No matter how effective our spiritual practices may be, nutrition, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle, resilience, and our everyday choices influence how well we age. Drawing upon Asha's expertise, this pathway explores conscious living, mental and physical wellbeing, balance, vitality, and practical approaches to living with greater health, clarity, and fulfillment as we grow older.

The Yogic Mystery School Primer is designed as a year-long journey through the four principal pathways that form the foundation of our school.

You begin with immediate access to more than 100 lessons from two of these pathways—The Yoga of Sound and Sri Vidya Tantra. Together, they offer a substantial body of teachings, practices, master classes, and immersive retreat experiences that you can explore at your own pace.

Over the course of your membership, the Primer will continue to grow. The Consciousness Pathway and Healthy Aging Pathway will be introduced as they are developed, while additional selected teachings and experiences may also be added to the pathways already available.

Everything released into the Primer remains available throughout your active membership, allowing you to build a growing library of teachings, practices, and retreats that you can return to whenever you wish.

The Primer is more than an introduction. It gives you the opportunity to actually experience the character and depth of the Yogic Mystery School before deciding whether you would like to continue into more advanced study.
