We can feel powerless or lend our support to all the invisible forces that have protected our fragile planet for so long. It is time to connect, plug into the deeper realms of consciousness, and support the hidden work of angels and gods.

The myth of Atlas holding up the world is now a communal effort: it is an interlinking of arms and shoulders, a collaboration between humans and non-physical intelligence. Mantra practice can strengthen our soul's muscles.

We cannot bury our heads in the ground and, like spiritual ostriches, wiggle our butts cutely, just waiting for it all to disappear or deescalate. Instead, the invitation is to put our shoulder to the wheel and do our part each day through dedicated spiritual practice and dedicated self-transformation.

Christopher Fry sums it up eloquently in his Sleep of Prisoners:

Dark and cold we may be, but this
Is no winter now. The frozen misery
Of centuries breaks, cracks, begins to move;
The thunder is the thunder of the floes,
The thaw, the flood, the upstart Spring.
Thank God our time is now when wrong

The "you" here is humanity. Teilhard de Chardin once said that humanity is being brought to the brink of choosing between adoration and annihilation, or something to that effect. This might be a moment like that.
